INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB), AL intends to award a sole source contract to GEMG GC Vehicle I, LLC, 600 New Hampshire Ave NW, Suite 510, Washington, DC 20037, for the purchase of a subscription to a full content database in accordance with the attached Draft Statement of Requirement (SOR). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 519290 and the small business size standard is 1,000 EMP. As it relates to Air University Library (AUL), GEMG GC Vehicle I, LLC is the exclusive distributor of the Military Periscope open-source global defense information services database. As it is proprietary data, distribution and reproduction of the database is prohibited without the written authorization of GEMG GC Vehicle I, LLC.

Description of the Requirement:

Air University Library (AUL) has a requirement to provide an open source global information services database subscription to its faculty, staff and students. The database will provide a subscription to different databases to include topics such as weapons, nations and terrorist organizations all in one place, for one price. The subscription will allow AUL faculty, staff and students to easily search any and all databases through the website, with no limit to the number of searches of the time they spend searching the databases.
