Amendment 0003 - This solicitiation as been amended. The following changes have been made:

Two FINAL additional Questions/Responses:

  1. Engineer estimate/estimated budget price?

    • We are not providing a magnitude description on this commercial service. This is what your pricing will provide in the RFQ based on the performance work statement (PWS).

  2. Is the maintenance contractor required to provide service units if an AV equipment breakdown? If yes, can this be billed separately?

    • New equipment will be billed separately and as needed; Please see PWS para. 4.0 – 4.2.

      1. β€œIn order to replace obsolete, non-repairable Out of Warranty equipment, the Contractor shall provide the COR with replacement options and three estimates from government approved purchase sources for review/approval before new equipment is purchased and installed.”

  3. No other changes have been made.

Amendment 0002 - This solicitiation as been amended. The following changes have been made:

1. Answer to the following questions:

  • Quantity of all parts on attachement 3 and inventory of all AV rooms.

  • Date of part installations

This is the answer to both questions and background summary:

The most important factor about the requirement is that the maintenance vendor submitting a proposal will have the certifications and knowledge to have all the parts work together and for the system to work. Each room is using Creston Switches. A 16 port Crestron switch, a 32 port Crestron switch, and a 26 port Creston Switch respectively.

The Barnes Center is waiting for new parts to complete a phased upgrade. Original part installs were: Small and Large Auditorium 2017, Conference room 2022.

Exact quantities of all parts in the AV rooms are unavailable because new parts are always being added and updated to inventories by AV maintenance contractor personnel when installed. Since original install date, there have been pieces of equipment that have been broken and replaced, functions not needed and removed. Some of the equipment has been replaced with similar equipment with the same function.

All new parts purchased for the AV rooms have agreements with the part vender that they will assist the maintenance vender to update the equipment list.

2. No other changes have made.

Amendment 0001 - This solicitiation as been amended. The following changes have been made:

1. Addition of attachment 3 - Auditorium Inventory

2. Answers to the following questions:

  • What is the current control system?

Crestron programming language.

  • Does the Government have the existing programming code for the current control system?

Yes

3. No other changes have made.
