Air University’s (AU) International Officer School (IOS) at Maxwell AFB, Montgomery AL, has a requirement to obtain laptops for academic student use while attending resident programs on the AU campus. The procurement of these items is to be provided through a Device as a Service (DaaS) subscription-based service that will provide AU with end-user devices (laptops) and various managed IT services to support, and also to maintain these devices through a structured service level agreement. The initial amount to be purchased is approximately 240 laptops to provide for AU’s 2024 -2025 Academic School Year. However, the agreed upon awarded indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract will provide for increases up to 300290 devices over the period of performance (POP) for the awarded contract. These increases will be necessary to support student influxes in the IOS program over the POP. Increases in student attendance is based on adding approximately 66 students each year per SECDEF guidance for this time period.
