SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT notice to notify all Socio-Economic Small Business companies that the FBI has a requirement for Facilities Maintenance Support services to support Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
PRIME CONTRACTOR MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET FACILITIES CLEARANCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) maintains approximately 2,000 employees and over 130 buildings situated on 1100 acres at its FBI Redstone Campuses in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. The facilities portfolio to be supported under this proposed task order include general offices, data centers, laboratories, warehouses, records retention facilities, and training centers. The FBI has historically required facility maintenance services at these buildings in addition to preventive maintenance. This contract will provide for a one (1) year Base Period and up to four (4) Option Periods for a total contract period of up to sixty (60) months to be exercised at the discretion of the Government.
The solicitation will be a Request for Proposal (RFP) with an 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Award will be made utilizing the Best Value Source Selection approach to the Government in accordance with FAR 15 and FAR 36. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 561210 (Facilities Support Services).

This list will receive an email notice, with a link to access the solicitation documents, after the solicitation is issued/posted to the GPE in accordance with FAR 5.201. Telephone request for the solicitation package or unofficial plan holder list will not be honored. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. Vendors will not be charged for solicitation documents.
Due to the anticipated interest, the FBI is scheduling an Industry Day for Wednesday July 26, 2023. Attendance priority will be given to small businesses who actively hold an Active Top Secret Facilities clearance.
