The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE in the form of a contract to Embassy Suites Montgomery doing business as A29 Funding LLC to provide Maxwell AFB’s Eaker Center with conference space and A/V support in accordance with (IAW) the attached Statement of Requirements (SOR).

Brief Description of Requirements: The Contractor shall provide conference space, AV equipment setup, technical support, and light refreshments for the Eaker Center for Professional Development's Pre-Command Team training in Montgomery, AL. The event will take place across 2 training periods encompassing 18 days (non-consecutive) for 150 attendees simultaneously. The Contractor must meet the requirements outlined in the attached Statement of Requirements (SOR). The Contractor will supply all AV equipment required for course performance to include microphones, polycoms, and cables to allow for the connection of government laptops to conduct slideshow presentations. Sufficient power sources must be available for students to charge their laptops. The Contractor must additionally provide standby technicians to handle and course technical issues such as loss of network connectivity and audio balancing. The facility must have active phone lines and provide access to conference telephones.

There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

If no responsible, responsive offers are received by 23 February 2024, a sole source contract will be issued to Embassy Suites Montgomery doing business as A29 Funding LLC under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
