NOTICE OF UPCOMING INDUSTRY DAY AND SCHEDULING OF ONE-ON-ONE MEETINGS WITH FUTURE LONG RANGE ASSAULT AIRCRAFT (FLRAA) MODERNIZATION PROJECT OFFICE

Product Service Code: 15- AEROSPACE CRAFT AND STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS

NAICS Code: 336411 – Aircraft Manufacturing; 336413 – Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing; 334511 – Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing; 334290 – Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing; 541511 Customer Computer Programming Services

The purpose of this notice is to inform interested parties of the upcoming Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) Mission Systems Industry Day and to provide industry an opportunity to participate in one-on-one sessions with the Government. The event is tentatively scheduled for 15 September 2023 in Huntsville, AL with one-on-one sessions on the same day. One-on-one meeting durations depend on time availability and the number of interested organizations.

The purpose of the Mission Systems Industry Day is to inform the FLRAA modernization strategy for future increments of the aircraft. The intent is to gain an understanding of industry’s planned future technology investments in communication, navigation, identification, and sensors and ensure those solutions align to the Army’s Enterprise Architecture Framework (EAF). Solutions that align to the Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) and software and application-based capabilities are of particular interest.

Interested parties are not required to submit a white paper to attend this industry day event; however, interested parties must provide a capability brief in accordance with the paragraph below. The official Request for Information (RFI) announcement to request the white paper is tentatively planned for release on or around 05 September 2023. Respondents should follow the instruction in the RFI for submission of the white paper.

Additionally, respondents requesting a Government and Industry briefing session are asked to reply to this notice no later than 30 August 2023. The request must include a company introduction and overview with critical technologies / core competencies (Maximum 10 slides). The request should also include the anticipated number of attendees, which will be limited due to space constraints, from your organization. All Government and Industry sessions will be conducted in person and visit requests will be required for all attendees. Specific requirements for the visit request will be provided upon registration and authorization to attend is subject to an approved visit request. Only US Citizens are authorized to participate.

The Government will review each one-on-one request and notify industry participants of their scheduled session on or about 6 September 2023. Given the limited availability, the Government requests that each company consolidate Government and Industry discussion requests across all locations / CAGE codes. Any requests for Government and Industry meetings received after 30 August 2023, will be reviewed and considered for scheduling at a later date. Government and Industry discussions will be unclassified. If the volume of interest in the one-on-one sessions exceed the allocated time for the Mission Systems Industry Day, the Government will establish a future virtual or in-person session to meet with the interested respondents. The upcoming RFI will provide additional instructions for submitting a white paper which is due approximately two weeks after industry day.

Below is a summary of critical dates described in the preceding sections:

- 30 AUG 23 – Suspense for one-on-one session request submissions

* Request includes the proposed attendee list & a maximum of 10 slides

- 5 SEP 23 (tentative) – Release Mission Systems Industry Day Request for Information (RFI)

- 15 SEP 23 (tentative) – Mission Systems Industry Day (Huntsville, AL)
