This project consists of the replacement of an existing air cooled chiller with an Owner provided new air cooled chiller.  Associated Work is included.



Review of & compliance with the contract documents, review of existing conditions, coordinate all work with other trades to complete the scope of work as required for the crane lay-down, removal and replacement of the existing air cooled chiller/chilled water piping/valves/accessories in the chiller yard with a new Owner furnished air cooled chiller. Contractor shall complete all work per plans, notes, schedules, details and comments as required for approval.



A Mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the building site on Wednesday, March 6, at 1:30 PM CST.  Meet at the loading dock of the Library, at the South end of S Scott Street – near the entry to Church Street Graveyard.



The library shall be without HVAC for a maximum of six (6) hours.  Contractor shall prepare the site and have all necessary equipment for the replacement ready to assure a smooth and on time replacement.  The new chiller is expected to leave the factory on May 1, 2024, and will be delivered directly to the jobsite approximately 3 to 5 days later.

It is the responsibility of the bidder to insure that their bid response is delivered to and received in the at the location or address specifically directed in the specification by the date and time prescribed.
